Policy adaptation and implementation by the Government of Kenya (Beneficial Ownership) InfoNET was a partner at the Open Government Partnership Global Summit in Mexico, which was held on October 28th 2015. OGP was launched in 2011 to provide an international platform for domestic reformers committed to making their governments more open, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

InfoNET was instrumental in the submission of Kenya’s 2nd National Action Plan (NAP) under a multi-agency committee under the Open Government Partnership on June 30, 2016. The plan is centered upon provid- ing a policy-based frame work which will support new and ongoing innovations geared towards the attain- ment of the Country’s Developmental goals. The Cli- mate Change Act 2016 is one such policy that is set to benefit from the accelerated implementation of strategies set to address the adverse effects of climate change.
