InfoNET spearheaded The National Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (NPSDD) was launched at the Inaugural National Forum for Sus­tainable Development Data. The Inaugural Forum organized by a multi-sectoral technical committee and co-hosted together with the Office of the Deputy President, Local Development Research Initiative (LDRI), Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) Part­nership for African Governance and Social Research (PASGR), brought together over 200 national and international participants from government, civil society and private sector to discuss the data revolution.

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD) was launched on September 15th, 2015. InfoNET as the secretariat of the NPSDD now UN World Data Forum, was involved in the launch of the larger GPSDD in New York at a side event at the UN General Assembly. The partnership is supported by 198 nations dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by 2030 through harnessing sustainable development data. The attainment of these goals will require corporation from all fronts through various means.
