What Makes Us Unique

Rootedness in citizen’s perspectives and a unique partnership strategy by providing unparalleled synergies and in depth vision to address the challenges of development in a rapidly changing socio-cultural and econom- ic context. This enables us to harness the skills and experience of the very best of researchers, technologists, development experts, activists, policy makers alike, to meet the macro, micro and retail needs of citizens. InfoNET, within its short history has become a key player in shaping technology policy and praxis at local, regional and international level.

Our strategy of harnessing the power of mobile and web technologies enables us to adopt a transfor- mative and catalytic role in securing the cen- trality of citizens in change processes. While acknowledging the limitations of technology, we recognize the importance of partnerships in max- imizing the value of our interventions and funding. In this regard, we develop synergies and support diverse activities on service delivery, transparency & accountability, public resource management, civ- il society strengthening and elections as a critical phase of democratization.

We develop and support organizations through building capacity of various institutions at National and Global level using technology. We are a key institution that aims at changing how civil society, state and citizens engage through technology in Kenya and exporting similar strat- egies to Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Ethiopia and other Countries.
